Everglades Earth Day Festival in Miramar
Everglades High School, in partnership with the City of Miramar, is hosting its first Everglades Earth Day Festival on April 26 from noon to 8 pm at Miramar Regional Park located at 16801 Miramar Parkway.
This event is being created in order to encourage students, families, community members, businesses and institutions to consider the welfare of the planet and to nurture and cultivate the connections that sustain us. The organizers are a committee of committed teachers, administrators and students who hope to make this an annual event at the park.
The Miramar Cultural Center, Whole Foods and Aveda are participating, as well as clubs and organizations from local schools and across Broward County. There will be performances, speakers, hands-on activities, food trucks, demonstrations, animals and art installations.
The parking fee for the event will be $5.00 per car.
